Frenchy Fun Facts!

At least once a week, either Bowman or someone at the AJC does a “so check out how good Frenchy is this year, eh???” article. (As opposed to the “so check out how many RBIs Frenchy has this year” straw clutching of last year).

Here’s this week’s, hot off the press!

Engaged to his high school sweetheart Catie McCoy, Francoeur has given reason to believe there really isn’t further reason for him to care if “chicks dig the long ball.”

Well, I LOL’d.

In all seriousness, I’ve been very pleasantly surprised with Frenchy this year. I’m sure Heap is somehow responsible, but still, hooray for enlightened Frenchy!

    Haven’t they been engaged for the past decade now? :)

    He had to have known what he meant when he said that, little nasty. Smh.

      Who knows . . . a bartender who claimed to know him (through his cousin’s friend or some BS) told me they were engaged two months before they made the announcement.

      And with Bowman you never know, but he can be surprisingly snarky at times.

        LOL look at this I made…I think that’s why I need to start sleeping at the same time as everyone else. But my sister sent me these and I had to do something with them.

          That was the greatest thing ever!!! OMG the celebratory belch!! Yuney thinking in English!! And like you could come to any other conclusion about the first picture! Great job!

    How much would I love to see a “Chicks Dig The Long Ball”-type commercial with Baby and Frenchy? Maybe highlighting Frenchy throwing someone out at the plate, or back-to-back home runs? I know it wouldn’t be as good as the original (what would be?), but it would still be entertaining.

      Oh man, I’d love to see any commercial featuring those two (Renai Tankless Water Heaters, Official Water Heater of the Atlanta Braves?) but that would be funny . . . though poor Heap would probably faint from humiliation during the taping. Frenchy would love it, though. :D
